Introzone
Discover the latest in kitchen odour control technology from Nationwide Ventilation Ltd. Our cutting-edge solution uses oxidation with ozone and activated oxygen ions to tackle odours from commercial and industrial kitchens, ensuring full compliance with DEFRA standards. Designed to integrate seamlessly with our canopy range or ductwork, our system is also perfect for upgrading any existing setup on site. It works by injecting ozone directly into the canopy or ductwork, where it reacts with odours, converting them into harmless carbon dioxide and water vapour, with the ozone then reverting back to oxygen.
Enjoy numerous benefits with our system: it effectively removes cooking odours, helps reduce grease buildup, fits all installations whether in canopies or ductwork, and boasts a compact, quiet design for easy, hassle-free installation. Suitable for various airflow needs, it operates at a low cost—up to 50% less than standard UV-c systems—without needing fan upgrades. Plus, it offers reduced maintenance costs, is fully fire suppression compliant, and requires just a simple 240v connection for installation. Say goodbye to complex setups and hello to efficiency and safety.
Services Distribution Units
A stainless steel Services Distribution Unit is the hygienic, convenient and flexible way of providing the cooking appliances with the gas, electric and water services they require. Whether the cooking suite is wall or island mounted, all the services are housed within an attractive pre-engineered unit. Ugly exposed pipework, electrical trunking, surface mounted boxes – the many unsightly kitchen dirt traps are neatly packaged into an easy to maintain stainless steel housing.
For safety reasons, mechanical and electrical services are segregated, but are easily accessible behind removable panels. Within the Unit, services can be easily relocated or expanded in the event of relocation or revision of appliances. There is single point connection for all services, and controls, MCB Board and isolation valves are hidden but easily accessed.
Lights
The work area beneath canopies should maintain a lighting intensity of at least 500 lux.
Our portfolio includes a diverse range of lighting solutions, with LED downlights currently being the preferred option. These downlights are rated for both fire safety and IP65, offering adjustable colour temperatures of 3000, 4000, or 5500K. Typically installed in the canopy’s ceiling, they can be positioned to your specifications. With fluorescent tubes becoming obsolete, we provide an LED tube alternative that emits a 5500K light, encased in a sleek, IP65-rated housing. Similar to the downlights, these tubes are primarily ceiling-mounted, though alternative placements are possible.
Side Access Pre-Filter Housing
Nationwide Ventilation side access pre-filter housings are manufactured from 20g galvanised sheet steel, with standard 120L MEZ at each end for simple installation into standard ductwork runs. One side has a removable access door, with either screwed fixings or cam catches for easy access to the pre-filter for changing. On three internal sides there are filter-retaining channels to slide the filter into, and prevent movement when in operation. The channels are foam sealed on the back and on the door to eliminate air by-pass round the filters.
The pre-filter housings can be manufactured to accommodate any thickness of pre-filter, bag filter or multiple numbers of filters. When fitted with pleated panel filters, grade G4 of EN779 (Medium efficiency disposable filters), the pre-filter housings are suitable for use in ventilation/air conditioning systems which require a higher efficiency and greater dust holding capacity. They can also be used in the food industry and hospitals where glass panels are undesirable. They are also suitable for use as pre-filtration to carbon filter units.
